Racing heartbeat or palpitations, shortness of breath, sweating, blushing, pins and needles in our limbs, numbness, and muscle tension such as around our chest and neck

Work related issues

Chronic exhaustion, difficulties sleeping, headaches and muscle tension, gastrointestinal problems, changes in appetite, feeling overwhelmed, increased irritability, indecisiveness and reduced confidence, worry that feels uncontrollable, pessimistic outlook


Feeling sad or hopeless, losing interest in pleasurable activities, withdrawing from friends or family, changes in sleep, loss of energy, poor concentration, feelings of guilt, thoughts of harming yourself

Sleep difficulties

Frequently feeling sleepy during the day, having difficulty staying awake during activities such as watching TV, reading, or driving, feeling an urge to nap most days, having difficulty concentrating, feeling our emotions are on a ‘shorter fuse’, where we’re more quickly irritable or tearful, feeling dependent on caffeine to function

Issues of trust, frequent conflict, parenting difficulties, emotional reactivity, role transitions,  communication challenges, navigating traumatic losses or events, or reduced emotional or physical intimacy

Obsession with body weight or shape, intense fear of gaining weight, weight loss, failure to gain weight, or fluctuating weight, being very selective about what to eat, preoccupation with the preparation of food for others to eat, thinking or talking about food all the time, over-exercising and being worried if they are not able to exercise
