Helen is a registered psychologist with a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) and comes with seven years of experience working in a variety of settings. She enjoys working in a systemic approach with children, teens, families and adults experiencing various challenges. Helen is passionate about supporting her clients through their journey of growth and assist in improving peoples\' quality of life and live more fulfilling lives. Helen is a warm, compassionate and strengths focused practitioner who works collaboratively with people. She is flexible and adaptive in her approach, using various evidence based approaches to best fit each individual.

Helen has experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults in private and public settings presenting with a variety of issues. She completed her clinical training at The Sydney Clinic and Mindset Counselling Service at Caringbah Community Centre. Also she has conducted Mindfulness, Social Anxiety, Building Resilience Bipolar, DBT and ACT groups. Helen also volunteered for NEA BPD Family Connection which supports loved ones of people with BPD and emotional regulation difficulties using DBT principles in a systemic approach. She worked for three years as a Psychologist for an employment provider in low socio economic areas, assisting with people\'s psychological issues individually and in groups. Helen has also engaged in training within a private practice and at South Pacific Private rehabilitation centre for mood and AOD patients. Helen was also a Lifeline telephone counsellor for Wesley mission conducting phone counselling and crisis intervention.

Helen has experience treating anxiety and depression issues, OCD, social anxiety, bipolar issues, PTSD, grief reactions, AOD, self-harm, suicide ideation, emotion regulation difficulties and behavioural issues.

She uses an eclectic treatment approach using CBT, Mindfulness, ACT, DBT, MI, and emotion focused therapy.
